WASHINGTON, June 19 -- Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Ohio, has introduced the Oil Speculation Reduction Act of 2008 (H.R. 6279), legislation that would "reduce speculation in crude oil markets."

The bill was introduced on June 17. It was referred to the House Agriculture Committee.
