Vitasoy International Holdings Ltd., a Hong Kong-based manufacturer and seller of beverages and food products, has acquired Unicurd Food Co. Pte., Ltd., a Singapore-based manufacturer and marketer of soy foods. The transaction closed on April 2, 2008, and was reported by Datamonitor's Financial Deals Tracker service.
Dutch Friesland Foods (Meppel) and Campina (Zaltbommel) announced in April they have reached an agreement on the proposal for a merger that will create the new dairy company, FrieslandCampina, and the new dairy cooperative, FrieslandCampina.
