Article: Sen. Lincoln Introduces Resolution Concerning Gospel Music Heritage Month

WASHINGTON, June 20 -- Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Arkansas, has introduced a resolution (S.Res. 595) "designating September 2008 as 'Gospel Music Heritage Month' and honoring gospel music for its valuable and longstanding contributions to the culture of the U.S."

The resolution, introduced on June 16, was co-sponsored by Sens. Kay B. Hutchison, R-Texas, and Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont.
