NEW DELHI, India, June 20 -- THE GURGAON Police have set up a police post on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway Toll Plaza to curb the increasing number of auto thefts in the NCR city. Though it remains to be seen whether vehicle thefts will stop, the police presence has definitely helped check the number of toll-related brawls at the plaza.
One assistant sub inspector, four head constables and 30 constables now man this-32 lane toll plaza round the clock. The expressway concessionaire company, DS Constructions (DSC), has provided space for the police personnel inside the toll building.
