Stand against torture in June

Amnesty International activists are gearing up for worldwide demonstrations in June, Torture Awareness Month, to demand that the U.S. government close Guantánamo and stop using torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment. Activists will also call for an end to practices that facilitate abuse: extraordinary rendition and illegal detention. In the United States, AIUSA's Denounce Torture Campaign will mobilize citizens with the Guantánamo Cell Tour.
