Governor Timothy M. Kaine today announced appointments to the following boards and commissions:

Citizen's Advisory Council on Furnishing and Interpreting the Executive Mansion

* Maurice Beane of Richmond City, owner of Maurice Beane Studios;

* Virginia R. Holton of Weems, former first lady of Virginia;

* Mary A. R. Howard of Charlottesville, historic preservationist;

* Faithe Norrell-Mickens of Richmond City, library/media specialist in Richmond City Public Schools;

* Kathryn Watkins of Midlothian, retired;

* Florence Lee Wellons of Earlysville, realtor at Montague, Miller and Company Realtors.
