Article: FORT BENNING'S RANGER TRAINING BRIGADE TO WELCOME NEW COMMANDER

Fort Benning issued the following news release:

Fort Benning's Ranger Training Brigade will welcome a new commander and bid farewell to their present commander at 8 a.m. July 10 at the Ranger Memorial near Infantry Hall.

Col. Douglas L. Flohr will assume the command from Col. Gregory Hager during a change of command ceremony.

Flohr is experienced with Ranger training, having served as a battalion and brigade operations officer with Ranger Training Brigade from 1999 to 2001, as a plans and special projects officer for the 75th Ranger Regiment from 2001 to 2003 and as the commander for the 5th Ranger Training Battalion, Ranger Training Brigade from 2003 to 2005.
