Will Smith's 'Hancock' highlights summer movie season

Comic book superheroes will rule the silver screen this summer.

"Iron Man," starring Cleveland native Terrence Howard and Robert Downey Jr., has already become a $200 million blockbuster since its May 4 release, setting the tone for the season.

Will Smith, fresh off the December success of "I Am Legend," will return to theaters on July 2 with "Hancock."

In the movie, Smith portrays an alcoholic superhero shunned by society. A publicist (Jason Bateman) helps rehabilitate him, and the superhero eventually begins an affair with the publicist's wife (Charlize Theron).

An updated version of "The incredible Hulk" arrives June 13. The new movie stars Edward Norton ("25th Hour") as Bruce Banner.
