Onalaska Best Buy part of free recycling effort

ONALASKA, Wis. - The Best Buy store in Onalaska is among 117 within the company participating in a new test electronics recycling program, a store official said Monday.

Depending on how the test goes, the nation's largest electronics retailer may expand the recycling program to all of its 922 U.S. stores.

Under the test recycling program that began Sunday, the 117 stores are inviting customers to bring in up to two units per day, per household, for recycling at no charge.
