In November, NIAF representatives traveled through Campania as part of a mission to strengthen commercial ties between the region and the United States. The tour showcased Campania's unique fashion offerings to a delegation of executives from Saks Fifth Avenue, including Joseph Boitano, the company's vice president and general merchandise manager, and Anne Marie Paltsou of Saks Fifth Avenue Italia, in addition to NIAF National Executive Director John B. Salamone.
The group toured Nola's Cislnterporto international trade hub and its "Vulcano Buono" shopping mall designed to mimic Mt. Vesuvius. In Marcianise, the group visited Tari and Oromare, two jewelry consortiums that specialize in ...
