East Central Community College issued the following news release:
Students attending classes this summer at East Central Community College will only have to travel four days instead of five to the Decatur campus, due to recent action by the College's Board of Trustees.
ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin proposed the summer class schedule be revised "due to the rising cost of gas."
"We felt the change is necessary to better accommodate and serve our students as well as our faculty," Dr. Sutphin stated. "The new schedule will obviously mean longer class periods for those involved but the few minutes of additional time each day will be offset by not having to come to ...
