THE STAPLE FIBERS Business Unit of Xentrys, part of the Xentrys Group (formerly Domo Fibers and Yarns), has reached an agreement to buy the polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) staple fibres business of Spain's Propilan SA.
Xentrys believes the acquisition will substantially broaden its product portfolio as well as taking its consolidated group turnover to euro180 million a year in specialist fibres and yarns.
The two companies signed a binding letter of intent on 13 April and intend to finalize all the details within a few weeks. Xentrys Barcelona SA, a new company within the Xentrys Group is currently being established and will take over all assets from ...
