RISO, Inc. has donated its HC5500R Digital Inkjet Press with a ComColorExpress print controller to GATF, which will be housed in the Center for Digital Printing Excellence (CDPE). It is part of the CDPE plan to have a tiered selection of digital technologies (toner vs. inkjet) along with a variety of cost ranges and output capabilities. The press will be used for variable printing of envelopes and other marketing materials.
