Three years ago, I was blessed to begin serving as coexecutive editor of The African American Pulpit. Ironically the first issue I worked on was the Summer issue of 2005-our second "20 to Watch" issue (we run this popular issue featuring promising preachers under age 40 approximately every 3 years). I was thoroughly impressed as I edited the bios and sermons and articles of some of our nation's youngest, best, and brightest pastors, scholars, and ministers.
