SAFETY
Nalco Co. has announced its new Risk Management Solutions for Cooling Water program, which builds on enhancing the efficiency of cooling water systems by adding best practices for assessing, testing, remediating and reducing risks associated with Legionella. (A related article, "Legionella: An Invisible Risk," appears on pp. 6-10 in the April 2008 issue of CEP.)
The program consists of a survey to thoroughly assess the current cooling-water system and offer potential risk-reduction improvements based on Nalco's global code of practice, water treatment and data management with the patented 3D TRASAR technology, and cleaning and disinfection services.
