ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 26 -- Hyung-joo Lee of Suwon, South Korea, has developed a recording medium for preventing picture.

An abstract of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, said: "A digital video cassette recorder capable of preventing a picture from being distorted during a search, and a method for processing a picture according to the same are provided.
