The office of Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Patty Murray today announced that she has included $4.65 million for health care, workforce training, and education programs in King County in a Senate spending bill. The funding was included in the Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education (LHHS) Appropriations bill which passed the full Appropriations Committee today and will now go to the full Senate. Senator Murray is a senior member of the Appropriations Committee.
