Washington, June 29 -- American actress Lindsay Lohan's father has reacted to reports suggesting he has owned up to fathering a lovechild, by saying that he has instructed his lawyers to get to the truth.
Michael Lohan did not deny the fact that he had had a romantic relationship with the teenage girl's mother Kristi Kaufmann in 1995, at a time when he and his now ex-wife Dina had separated.
"I met Christie in 1982 in Houston. In 1995, when I was separated from Dina, she contacted me that she was moving to Long Island," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
