Over the past several years, several of the spawn of 70s pop-rockers have entered the pop music arena: The Strokes' Albert Hammond, Jr. (his dad was the "It Never Rains in Southern California" guy); Tal Bachman (son of the Guess Who/BTO's Randy); Matt Beckley (America singer/songwriter Gerry's kid) and Lowell George's daughter Inara, among others.
Singer/songwriter Tarn Johnstone is a notable addition to this ever-growing list. His dad, Davey, is Elton John's longtime lead guitarist and current musical director, and based on the evidence presented on the General Store's most excellent Mountain Rescue, Davey's musical talents ...
