Article: Rep. Dicks Introduces Puget Sound Recovery Act

WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Rep. Norm Dicks, D-Washington, has introduced the Puget Sound Recovery Act of 2008 (H.R. 6364), legislation that would "amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to provide assistance for programs and activities to protect the water quality of Puget Sound."

The bill, introduced on June 25, was co-sponsored by Reps. Jay Inslee, D-Washington; Rick Larsen, D-Washington; Brian Baird, D-Washington; Jim McDermott, D-Washington; Adam Smith, D-Washington; and Dave Reichert, R-Washington. It was referred to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
