Injuries, costs persuade a Boeing team to develop a safety plan
IN RESPONSE TO employee safety concerns and rising workers' compensation costs, a team at Boeing's C-17 site developed a solution to prevent injury and save money.
The journey of the C-17 World-Class Safety Team from Boeing-an aerospace and defense corporation-ended with the implementation of the Integrated Safety Management System, which has 12 essential elements, including open communication processes and challenging goals and objectives.
