FDIC MAKES PUBLIC MAY ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS; NO ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS SCHEDULED FOR JULY

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation issued the following news release:

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in May. No administrative hearings are scheduled.

The FDIC processed a total of 21 orders in May. These included four cease-and-desist orders; seven removal and prohibition orders; six civil money penalties; three terminations of cease-and-desist orders; and one modification of cease-and-desist order.
