Article: RENO FIRE MARSHAL BURNEY SAYS NO WARNINGS, JUST CITATIONS, ARRESTS FOR ILLEGAL USE OF FIREWORKS

The city of Reno issued the following news release:

"Citations will be issued and arrests will be made when people illegally use fireworks in the City of Reno or the unincorporated areas of Washoe County," Reno Fire Marshal Bill Burney said today. "And, there will be no warnings when people illegally use fireworks during the Fourth of July holiday period."

Fireworks prohibitions don't just pertain to the Fourth of July holiday, Burney points out, it is illegal to possess or use fireworks and or pyrotechnics within the City of Reno or the unincorporated areas of Washoe County any time.
