The Maricopa County Air Quality Department announces $368,670.79 in air quality violation settlements during the month of June 2008. The settlement cases for June are listed below including the following three highest settlements for the month:
CHI Construction Company/DR Horton Inc. signed a settlement agreement for $58,410.00 on June 27th to resolve 10 alleged air quality violations. The alleged violations include: failure to obtain an earthmoving permit; failure to comply with stabilization requirements for open areas/vacant lots or disturbed surface areas; failure to clean up trackout; failure to install, maintain and use a suitable ...
