Washington, July 2 -- A collaborative study by members of the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind/Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Genomics Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) casts light on how the relaxation response, a physiologic state of deep rest, enables patients to deal with disorders like high blood pressure, pain syndromes, infertility, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.
