WASHINGTON, July 2 -- The U.S. Interior Department's Bureau of Land Management has issued an invitation to all interested parties to participate with Bridger Coal Co. on a pro rata cost-sharing basis. The invitation relates to a program for the exploration of coal deposits owned by the U.S. in the Red Desert and Rock Springs known recoverable coal resource areas in Sweetwater County.

The Native American Consultation Database indicates the Shoshone Tribe of the Wind River Reservation, Wyo., and the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of the Fort Hall Reservation of Idaho have interests in Sweetwater County.
