Go Vintage

I'm a 14-year-old fan of your magazine, and I was so pleased to see the article "Vintage Advantage" in your May issue (p. 21). While fancy new fabrics-often with a hefty price tag-are marketed as sustainable, buying vintage and secondhand pieces is probably the most environmentally sound thing you can do in terms of clothes shopping. There are also some great bargains to be had and treasures to be found at many thrift stores.
