Computer game technology is a gas for trainee engineers

Serious games experts at SkillszLeam have developed a set of six e-learning modules to train gas engineers in fault finding, central heating system controls, combination boiler guide, Part L, ventilation requirements and flueing requirements.

Trainees learn skills through a blend of computer based tuition, practising what they've learnt in a PC-based virtual reality environment.

British Gas is sharing its technical know-how with colleges, gas engineers, individuals and companies, through a series of computer-based training programmes which use computer games technology to demonstrate practical skills.
