With the exam season in full swing employers' group the CBI has published the results of its annual audit of the nation's skills. The CBI/Edexcel Education & Skills Survey 2008 of 735 firms, which employ 1.7 million people between them, identifies skills gaps in the workplace, reveals the skills employers most value and spotlights how organisations source skilled people with the right qualifications.
