The Fourth of July holiday period is traditionally a time for backyard cookouts with gas grills and charcoal barbecues. Reno Fire Marshal Bill Burney says there are simple safety reminders offered by the Reno Fire Department to help you and your family experience many safe and enjoyable cookouts over the Fourth of July and through the remaining summer months.
