Dave Fields'business ventures have taken him from satellites to digital signs, as well as returned him to the Technical Innovation Center at Hagerstown Community College with VIAAV, LLC.
Fields' startup company, VIAAV, LLC, provides turnkey software that allows an operator to change electronic signage from a personal computer. "They still are both communications applications, but satellite is telecommunications and digital signage is media," said Fields. "Signage is a huge, booming market in the media world."
