EVERYONE WANTS TO FEEL LIKE A TRUE NEW YORKER WHEN GALAVANTING AROUND TOWN. HERE ARE A FEW TIPS THAT'LL HELP YOU KEEP UP WITH THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS.

DO:

*Use crosstown buses to save those tired feet! (But be forewarned: They move slowly, especially during rush hour, so you're better off walking if you're in a hurry.)

*Look out for bikes and cars when you're crossing the street. (For the most part, bicyclists don't obey street signs and ride the opposite way on one-way streets!)

*Allow for ample travel time when heading to class or a show. Your commute might take more or less time, depending on the time of day.
