ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- Michele Viandante of Aachen, Germany, has developed an ornamental design for a front face of an automotive wheel, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office announced.

The inventor was issued U.S. Patent No. D572,186 on July 1.

The patent has been assigned to Kohl Automobile GmbH, Aachen.
