The Voice of America issued the following story:
Muslims' America debut episode profiles a mosque outside Philadelphia whose membership breaks with the stereotypical congregation. Voice of America's new weekly, multimedia series offers interviews, discussions and personal profiles to reflect the diversity of Muslim-Americans and distinguish between the myths and realities of the Muslim-American experience.
"We want to show various perspectives of Muslims in the U.S., and examine what it means to be a Muslim in America today," said Jennifer Janin, Chief of VOA's Urdu Service. "As the show's title suggests, being American is an important part of how Muslim-Americans define themselves."
