Article: ARMY NATIONAL GUARD RECRUITS AT PENSACOLA AIR SHOW

The Florida Department of Military Affairs issued the following news release:

The Navy's Blue Angels were the main attraction at an air show in Pensacola Friday and Saturday. Many vendors took advantage of the crowds to set up booths. The four branches of the military also set up tents to try and attract the attention of potential recruits.

The Army National Guard brought out the Indy Racing car driven by Vitor Miera, and gave away hats, footballs, posters and more - for a price: most people were required to do pushups to earn National Guard memorabilia.

Staff Sgt. Tumeka Turner, an Army National Guard recruiter in Pensacola, said she enjoyed being at the air show as a recruiter.
