The U.S. Department of Justice's Federal Bureau of Investigation Houston Field Office issued the following press release:

The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs the public's assistance in identifying an armed bank robber who robbed the Sterling Bank located at 12120 Jones Road, in Cypress, Texas on July 10, 2008. Bank surveillance cameras captured photos of the armed bank robber as he pointed a black handgun in the direction of the teller.

At approximately 09:20 am, a lone black male entered the Sterling Bank and walked directly to the teller counter. The robber placed a dark colored bag on the counter with his left hand while pointing a black handgun in the direction of the teller ...
