Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service appointments:

Christian M.L. Bonat, deputy general counsel (legal counsel), Office of the General Counsel, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Washington, D.C.

Robert C. Doheny, foreign relations and defense policy manager, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (special operations/low intensity conflict and interdependent capabilities) reassigned, to foreign relations and defense policy manager, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (homeland defense and america's security affairs), Washington, D.C.
