WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Rep. Scott Garrett, R-New Jersey, has introduced the Federal Housing Finance Regulatory Reform Act of 2008 (H.R. 6521), legislation that would "reform the regulation of certain housing-related Government-sponsored enterprises."

The bill, introduced on July 16, was co-sponsored by Reps. Patrick McHenry, R-North Carolina; Thaddeus McCotter, R-Michigan; Tom Price, R-Georgia; Ed Royce, R-California; Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas; Spencer Bachus, R-Alabama; Tom Feeney, R-Florida; J.
