Central Ohio and Columbus Muslims prepare as the annual ISNA convention returns after twelve years.

When ISNA was reenergizing itself twelve years ago, Columbus, OH, staged a successful convention. Despite the community's modest size when compared to such metropolises as Chicago and Washington, the city produced a team of dedicated volunteers to arrange the ISNA conventions and help provide a memorable welcome to the thousands of Muslim Americans and Canadians. The city hosted ISNA conventions in 1995 and 1996, and the spirit continues to expand as the vibrant Columbus community gears itself up to host the forty-fifth annual ISNA convention.
