Colgate Hires Muslim Couple

Dr. Rumee Ahmed, who served as Brown University's first Muslim chaplain, and his wife Ayesha Chaudhry, who served as Brown's community director, have accepted tenure-track positions in Colgate University's Department of Religion. Ahmed (Ph.D., University of Virginia, 2008) will begin teaching this fall; Chaudhry will begin teaching next fall, after she completes her Ph.D. at New York University.
