Brandon bans sale of unpasteurized milk

SIXTY YEARS AGO

After four days, the new water purifying and softening plant in Brandon has resulted in a marked change in the quality of the water supply.

A bylaw prohibiting the sale of unpasteurized milk in the city was passed at a regular council meeting. The bylaw was introduced by Ald. Stuart Schultz, chairman of the health committee, who reported that only a small percentage of milk and cream sold in the city is delivered in the raw state.
