The Iowa Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
A Des Moines woman suffered multiple injuries following a jet ski collision Saturday at Saylorville Lake.
Kasey Aiken, 27, was knocked unconscious when a jet ski she was operating collided with a jet ski being operated by Melisande Hinds, 20, of Des Moines at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saturday south of the marina. Aiken was transported to a Des Moines hospital by Polk City Ambulance.
Michaella Hinds, 17, of Carlisle, who was a passenger on the jet ski operated by her sister Melisande, found Aiken face down in the water and not breathing. She ...
