New Delhi, July 22 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Fagan Singh Kulaste Tuesday alleged that Ahmed Patel of the Congress party and Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh were involved in trying to bribe him and two other BJP MPs to abstain from the trust vote in parliament.

"We (Kulaste, Ashok Argal and Mahavir Bhagora) were told that a meeting was to be held at Le Meridien Hotel with Ahmed Patel last night (Monday night).
