The New York Power Authority issued the following news release:
The American Red Cross will conduct a blood drive at the New York Power Authority's (NYPA) Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Power Project visitors center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.
Appointments to give blood can be scheduled by calling the visitors center at 1-800-724-0309.
Qualified donors must be healthy, weigh at least 110 pounds and have refrained from donating blood in the last eight weeks (56 days). Donors must also display identification proving they are at least 17 years old, or 16 years old with a signed parental permission form (the forms are available on the Web at ...
