National report - A pro-tanning campaign launched by the Indoor Tanning Association (ITA) has raised objections from dermatologists and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
On March 26, the ITA rolled out an aggressive nationwide campaign, urging the public to rethink sun tanning and blasting dermatologists and the makers of sunscreens and cosmetics for "scaring Americans away from the sun," an ITA press release says.
