Speech impairment in Parkinsonian syndromes causes considerable impact on patients' social and emotional well-being. [1] Speech disorder seen in Parkinson's disease (PD) is hypokinetic dysarthria characterized by abnormalities like inability to maintain loudness, monotonous and harsh voice, articulation errors and reduced fluency.
