Serotonin transporter gene polymorphisms in patients with chronic tension-type headache: A preliminary study

Primary headaches constitute a major health problem and this is why there has been an increasing interest in the genetic associations of these widespread disorders within the last couple of years. Chronic tension-type headache (CTTH) occurs on at least 15 days in a month for up to three months and requires a visit to the family practitioner, neurologists and other physicians.
