Rep. Roscoe G. Bartlett, R-Md. (6th CD), issued the following news release:

Congressman Roscoe Bartlett (R-6-MD) today announced that the Corriganville Volunteer Fire Company in Allegany County will receive a $43,370 federal grant toward purchase of Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) equipment that ensures the safety of firefighters.

Congressman Bartlett said, "This $43,370 grant to the Corriganville Volunteer Fire Company is part of the federal government's effort to strengthen the Nation's ability to respond to fire and fire related hazards and to improve the nation's overall level of preparedness.
