The new season gets an early start

With a nod to its late-summer start, BalletMet Columbus's season opener is called "Hot Nights, Cool Dance." For the program-an evening of new works by William Soleau, Adam Hundt and Darrell Grand Moultrie, among others-the company invites the audience to experience the creative process as well as the finished product. It all starts on July 30 with two weeks of open rehearsals and discussions with the dancers and choreographers, followed by formal performances August 14-24 in the company's intimate performance space.
