Rep. Brady Introduces Tom Lantos Pulmonary Hypertension Research and Education Act

WASHINGTON, July 26 -- Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, has introduced the Tom Lantos Pulmonary Hypertension Research and Education Act of 2008 (H.R. 6568), legislation that would "direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to encourage research and carry out an educational campaign with respect to pulmonary hypertension."

The bill, introduced on July 22, was co-sponsored by Rep. Lois Capps, D-California. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee; and House Ways and Means Committee.
